TOUR OPTIONS

SUMMER

The Pedal & Paddle - Bike + Kayak - Explore the area by water and wheel. We start the day off with a bike on Duluth's awesome single track or one of many scenic roads/trails. After our ride we refuel a picnic lunch. After lunch we head out onto the big water Lake Superior. As we paddle you'll learn about the geology and natural history of the Lake and it's effects on everyday life.

The Voyageur - Canoe + Hike - As you follow in the footsteps of the voyageurs from long ago, guides will lead you up the St. Louis River by canoe to the Grand Portage entrance of Jay Cooke State Park. From there, you'll follow the ancient Grand Portage Trail into Jay Cooke. As you walk, just imagine carrying a 90 lbs pack of furs!

The Land Lover - Bike + Hike - Not a water lover? Then the Land Lover is for you! The day starts with a bike ride that starts you along the scenic shore at Brighton Beach. After exploring the rocky beach, we'll venture into Lester Park. There we will pedal up Seven Bridges & Amity Road. Guides will lead you along the trails and, if you wish, single track. After the ride, we will head into the forest & explore the beautiful hiking trails of Hawk Ridge.

The Seafarer - Canoe + Kayak - If the water calls your name, the Seafarer is your best bet. This seasonal sampler will keep you on the water all day long. We start with a morning canoe in the Saint Louis River Estuary. While canoeing, discover the vast array of plant & animal life this freshwater estuary offers. After a lunch (maybe a fish sandwich?), we will head out into the "Big Lake" with kayaks. This tour is perfect for those that want to explore the scenic North Shore around Duluth to experience just how diverse freshwater life can be.

WINTER

The Winter Duathlon - Fat Bike + Snowshoe -  We start the day off with a fat bike ride on one of Duluth's fine trails. After our ride we strap up on some snowshoes and tromp through the snow covered forest. Whether we stick to the trail or blaze our own path is up to you!

The Pole & Pedal - Cross Country Ski + Fat Bike - We start off with a morning cross country skiing along Duluth's beautifully groomed ski trails. After our ski, we change gears (literally) and head out for a fat bike ride on one of Duluth's amazing trails. We can ski and ride from the same place so we don't lose any adventure time to driving!
