Customer policies

  • Tours will be run at a reduced schedule. Guaranteed private tours are available as an add on.

  • Appropriate “social distancing” will be observed once tours are en route.

  • Customer transportation in Day Tripper of Duluth vehicles will not be allowed unless in case of true weather or medical emergency.

  • 1 guide will be with each household group

    • Multiple tours may depart at the same time, each will have a different guide

    • For kayaking, there will be 1 guide per 6 boats (solo/tandem). There may be more than 1 guide per private group.

  • Mask are strongly recommend for any close interactions. Day Tripper of Duluth guides will be wearing masks during guest meeting and departing.

    • Reusable masks are available for purchase during the booking process, or on site for $15 each. Disposable masks are available for $1 each.

  • Gear used on tour will be out of service until properly decontaminated. If standard decontamination is not possible, the gear will be set aside for at least 72 hours.

    • The Day Tripper of Duluth tour schedule has been changed to allow for proper decontamination procedures.

    • Per Executive order 20-56 section K, gear is checked out/in while on tour. Its status and whereabouts are known for the duration of use. 

  • If a guide feels unwell she/he will not report for work

  • If a customer or household member is unwell, please let Day Tripper of Duluth know and the tour will be canceled. As of 5/19 a full refund will be issued for the tour. Please be responsible and observe and don’t abuse the refund process for other reasons.
